We refer to roof photos, inspection data, identified deficiencies, scopes, estimates, and proposals collectively as "Project Data."
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide and improve our services, communicate with you about your account and updates, process transactions, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or your organization's identifying data to third parties.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ and at rest using AES-256 encryption. We store data in secure cloud infrastructure with redundant backups. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. We conduct regular security reviews and follow industry-standard practices.
4. Your Project Data — Ownership and Privacy
All Project Data — including roof photos, scopes, estimates, proposals, and inspection records — belongs to your organization. Customer names, contact details, property addresses, company-specific pricing, and other identifying information remain private to your organization and are never shared with other users, customers, or third parties for any purpose outside of service delivery.
5. Anonymized Data and Platform Improvement
To improve RooFix AI's AI models, deficiency detection accuracy, and overall platform quality, we may use anonymized image and deficiency data. Before any such use, identifying information is stripped — including but not limited to customer names, property addresses, organization names, contact details, and pricing data. Only anonymized visual and deficiency patterns are used for model improvement. This anonymization process is designed so that no individual, customer, or organization can be identified from the data used.
6. What We Do Not Do
We do not use your customer-specific Project Data to train or improve services for other customers. We do not expose any identifying information about your organization, your customers, or your projects to other users of the platform. We do not sell your data. We do not share identifying Project Data with third parties for advertising, profiling, or purposes unrelated to operating and improving RooFix AI.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We may use analytics cookies to understand how our website and platform are used in aggregate. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
8. Third-Party Services
We may work with third-party service providers for hosting, analytics, payment processing, and customer support. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it for the purposes we specify. They do not receive identifying Project Data beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the service.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account and Project Data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal retention requirements. Anonymized, de-identified data used for model improvement is retained separately and cannot be traced back to your organization.
10. Your Rights

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of RooFix AI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
